I don&#039;t think I&#039;d ever answer a personal ad because the person who placed it would be disappointed, but as everyone in the world would doubtlessly tell me, it&#039;s just because of my low self-esteem.

I think &lt;i&gt;what does&lt;/i&gt; sounds better because we anglophones are so used to the SOV word order, so even though &lt;i&gt;what&lt;/i&gt; is the object, it sounds odd not to make the verb agree with it.</description>
