as far as the dating goes… well you already know nick and i are right there with ya…

and the SAT score stuff… i feel like an outcast based on that chart lol… everything i like is supposed to make me dumb… yet i scored much higher lol 1190 on first and only try… and 500 on writing

I haven’t had much luck with people in general.

Hanging out with friends of your preferred sex(es)/gender(s) might or might not lead to romance, but it’s always fun because they’re your friends

I wouldn’t know about the whole friends thing, but I have a terrible time around guys I’m attracted to. I can chat with women and unattractive men until they get tired of or irritated by me, but attractive men just make me nervous and so that I’m not thinking straight.

Incidentally, my local community college was ranked 1,344 by test scores. My university fared much better, coming in at number 126.

I could only imagine how low mine would rank. When I’m only there because I couldn’t get into a four-year college and I’m thought of being “smart,” there’s something wrong with the majority of the student body.

There’s no reason to hang out with your guy friends but not your girl friends. Friends are friends, and if you treat one sex differently because you want a romantic relationship with them, it’s actually counterproductive. Relax and hang out with ALL your friends. It’s a more organic, natural path towards a romantic relationship.

You’ll hear a lot of married people tell you that their spouse is their best friend, and my husband and I are definitely in that group. You have to like being with someone and like hanging out with them before you can even think of spending the rest of your life with them. It all makes perfect sense, really.
