i think that you shouldn’t judge people based on their religious beliefs. i wouldn’t care what their religion was, you shouldn’t let yourself choose who you care about based on anything. you can’t choose to care about someone, you just do, or you don’t.

Aww, sorry to hear about your date blowing you off. Seriously, don’t think too much about it. I’m a 17 year old girl and I’ve never been on a date. At least you’re putting yourself out there by asking people. I’m pretty shy a lot of the times and turn down a lot of guys ’cause my standards are pretty high. A lot of times its for religion. I’m a christian and I don’t see myself marrying anyone who isn’t a christian, so I say what’s the point in going on a date with anyone who isn’t?

I anticipated that a lot of people’s answers would be, “I’d go on a date with them, but nothing more.” Yours is a scenario I hadn’t anticipated. But I’d imagine it’s rather common today.

On dating – most of the men in my family are late bloomers. My cousin didn’t start dating until his early 20s. I myself was never one to date a lot. You’re not a retard. Things will happen when it’s time.

On your question – I live with someone who has different religious beliefs. I was brought up Lutheran, Boyfriend Catholic, but he rejected the church to become Wiccan. He has an altar set up in the living room right next to the sofa I’m sitting on right now. I’m tolerant, but don’t participate. Comment form short – email me for more detailed answer if you want.
